Below are some of the most common questions we get asked before people try a class.
How many people are in a class?
Pilates 4 U Cheltenham classes will have a maximum number of 12 students in a class.
Can I join an existing class if it has been going for some time?
Pilates 4 U classes are designed to accommodate all levels of ability so you can start at level 1 and then gradually build up to the next level when you and or your teacher feels you are ready.
I'm a bit nervous about starting something new. What if everybody in the class are better than me?
All Pilates 4 U classes are about you as an individual. Although your Pilates class is undertaken in a group setting all students are working to individual goals and objectives. You do as much or as little Pilates as you feel challenged by whilst remaining in control.
Can I pay for my Pilates class weekly?
All Pilates 4 U classes operate a BLOCK BOOKING policy.
You pay for 10 consecutive weeks in advance at £75* and there are several reasons for having this system.
If you are new to Pilates it can take several lessons to start blending the breathing and moevements together. Block booking encourages attendence and builds consistency whilst allowing your teacher to monitor your progress.
Some Pilates 4 U classes have waiting lists so block booking gaurantees you a space and at the sametime allows us to limit the class numbers.
*From 2013 renewals a 10 week course will be £80.
Can I start at any time?
YES you can!
The best thing to do is pick a class from the timetable page, phone or email us and then we can arrange for your trial session. Arrive early for some 1 to 1 tuition on the basic principles of Pilates and you will be ready to go.
What should I wear?
Clothes that are easy to move about in and I have mats but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one.
